In Japan, we often see 'cherry blossom forecast maps' at this time of year, but if you want to visit the best cherry blossom spots in London, it might be a good idea to look for bloom information on social networking sites before you go. One of my favourite cherry blossom spots is St James's Park, which leads to Buckingham Palace. The cherry blossoms along the banks of the pond, with their branches hanging down towards the water, are very beautiful and remind me of cherry blossoms in Japan. The park's well-maintained environment also supports many species of birds, which make the springtime even more colourful as they dance amongst the cherry blossoms.
